Summer Shortcake

 This was very tasty and easy to make! Yummy!!

Ingredients :

• ¼  Cup    ∞· honey
• 2  Tbsp     ∞ butter ·· melted
• 1 ½  Cup  ∞ frozen whipped topping ·· thawed
• ½  Pints   ∞ fresh blueberries ·· washed
• 1  quart     ∞ fresh strawberries ·· washed, hulled & · sliced
• 10 ¾  oz   ∞ frozen pound cake ·· thawed & cut into · 10 slices

Method / How to Make :  

• Preheat the broiler.
• In a small bowl, combine the honey & butter, mix well. Brush half of the honey mixture over one side of each slice of cake & place coated side up on a baking sheet. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden. Carefully turn over the slices and brush the uncoated side with the remaining honey mixture. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until heated through and golden  
• Place on a large serving platter or individual serving plates & top each slice evenly with the whipped topping, strawberries, & blueberries.
